These wonderful floral are the work of Nationally known artist, Barbara Cullen, a native of Cincinnati. Her creativity does not end with the Paintings on canvas. She ha begun to make whimsical tables with a 3D reflective, flat surface that highlight a fun piece of art. Using found objects and wood these tables are Barbara's acknowledgement of the "Go Green", reduce, reuse and recycle movement.
I hope you'll find time to stop by to see her many paintings.

My good friend Bonnie Goldberg aka Bonita Williams Goldberg is Having a show at Closson's. The opening is Thursday March 13th 5-8 PM.
Show runs thru April 13th. Stop by and check it out.

This picture tells a lot about the past several days.

I've been off since getting the flu Wednesday night, feeling about 75% today. But now, Lou is fighting the same battle. Bless Donna, for manning the gallery on Thursday and Friday. Friday being the start of the blizzard of '08 and 13" of snow. No one went anywhere on Saturday, we were all safely tucked into our homes.

Donna, did receive several orders during the on start, these balls and the ball hanger among them. They are so beautiful against the back drop of the snow.

Looking forward to tomorrow, feeling better and catching up at work.

One of my new painting, in the Black Road Series, I call it that because I start with black, and see where it takes me
Yes, it has been along time between blogs, I suppose when I first signed up I had good intentions, or perhaps I just didn't understand the concept......Soo, ok, now I do, at least to some degree.
I'm just back from a buying trip to Philadelphia (Buyers Market of American Crafts) and Baltimore (American Crafts Council). Overwhelmed to say the least, so many wonderful creative souls among us. Needless to say, I placed lots of orders which will start to arrive between now and October. In most cases once I see it, I want it in the Gallery.....NOW!! I came in on Thursday just ahead of the latest snow and ice. Friday was busy, with a wonderful commerical job we did for Horan and Associates new office in Westchester. Thanks to Pat Brown Studios and Jim Brockman for their parts in the project. And a special thanks to Dave from Pendleton Square Framery for the excellent frame work and installation at their new offices. It was a pleasure to work with Karen Mueller from Horan.
Donna is on a well deserved vacation (the first in 6 years) so I am manning (womaning) the gallery for the next 8 days. Come see me.
